Hi, I’m Leihani Zoric, a 12-year-old surfer from Byron Bay, where I live in a caravan park right on the beach, surrounded by rainforest. Life here is all about the ocean—I spend my days with my parents and little brother, Atlas, chasing waves and sharing the stoke as a family.
I love surfing because it connects me to nature, and every wave is a new experience—no two rides are ever the same! Whether it’s a fun little runner or a heavy section to push my limits, I’m always looking for ways to try something new and express myself on the wave.
When I’m not surfing, I’m balancing school, other sports, and as much time in the ocean as I can squeeze in. While I’ve competed over the years, my biggest goal isn’t trophies—it’s to be remembered for the way I surf and who I am as a person. I hope to inspire others to be themselves and ride for the pure love of it.
