IAIN CAMPBELL

Iain started off his love for the ocean as a nipper in Durban’s North Beach, South Africa where he competed against the best winning Regional and National titles. From there he pursued his love for bodyboarding where he rode for his region and won multiple national titles at a young age in 2012 he represented South Africa where he won a gold in the ISA World Bodyboard Champs for Dropknee.

In 2017 Iain won his first APB World Tour and finished with 7 podiums to boot. He has proved to be a strong competitor as well as a good free surfer putting many months into seasons on the North Shore Oahu, Hawaii in Winters. He has also traveled to Chile, Brazil, Canary Islands, Portugal, Los Angeles, Mexico and all around South Africa to find some of the best waves on offer to bodyboard.

Iain will start 2018 with his first APB Event in Port Alfred, South Africa. His sights are set on another amazing year as he has started his training with Philip Nel again.
